Hi, the 21 day hold on a payment I received has now expired but the funds still haven`t been released. Why is this? The funds are listed in my Pending account.
If they havent then go to contact us bottom of paypal pages > email them the transaction i.d. of the payment and state you have waited the time they have stated and would like release of funds pronto.
Its a shame you have to do this as they should release promptly.

Yes they should but rarely do, shockingly poor customer services and could not care less attitude. Perhaps it is a deliberate ploy to hold onto people's money, it could work out to be a substantial sum of money if it is done to thousands if not millions of users!
Same thing has happened again today. Sent an email to contact us as suggested at the bottom of the page of Paypal. Still no reply. This is certainly a deliberate ploy and costing sellers a lot of money. Hopefully the financial ombudsman sees what is happening and acts accordingly. Dreadful service and company. If I did not have to accept Paypal then I would not.
Contact the financial ombudsman they backed up my complaint against paypal and ensured PP paid compensation. Anyone who has been ripped off like this should do the same. Then hopefully this unfair, unjust action will be removed and your money is released immediately. After all Paypal can take the money out of your account should there be a problem.
