Not Receiving Verification Deposits?

I'll admit it, I'm very new to PayPal and dealing with money in general, but I'm pretty sure I've taken all the correct steps to verify my bank account, yet I'm still not receiving the required deposits in my bank account. I'm 100% sure I entered the correct numbers in all the respected spaces. I was told that I would receive the deposits in 1-2 business days but it's been an entire seven days and I have received absolutely nothing from PayPal in any way. I really need to get this figured out asap because I have money waiting for me to accept it and I really need that money for clothes and food... I've been fumbling with this for about a month now.

It's been MONTHS now (plural) and I haven't received any help and my deposits are STILL not showing up. Help would be immensely appreciated. I need to make payments and I have money waiting for me on my paypal but because I can't verify my bank account I can't use that money.

Hi @Liz1999,

Apologies for the delay, if you are not seeing the deposits after 3 working days then it sounds like they were not sent successfully or not accepted by your bank. Is this a current bank account registered to your name as per your PayPal account? Also, make sure your bank allows the set up of a direct debit mandate. Please try requesting the codes again.

To confirm your bank account:

1. Go to Wallet.
2. Select the bank account to confirm and click Confirm.
3. Click Continue, then review and submit the Direct Debit details.

We'll deposit 1p in your bank account.  You'll find a 4-digit code next to the 1p deposit on your statement.  This should appear in your bank account within the next few minutes, but may take up to two hours, depending on your bank.
