My purchases always go off my back up funding source not my debit card????

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me?

When i buy things through paypal the payment always goes off my back up funding source which is my credit card and not off my debit card which i want it to go from! I've tried removing my credit card details and its not letting me do it as it says there is a instant bank transfer pending?? what does this mean?

Hey there,

Instant bank transfer is when the funds go through the direct debit mandate you have set up between your bank and PayPal. We pay the seller instantly, but the funds process through 5 to 7 working days later. If a transaction is still processing you will not be able to remove the backup card.

If all transactions are passed 7 working days and you still can’t remove the card I would advise you to send an email authorising us to remove the card. Please include the last 4 digits of your card.
