I have seen such topic circulating but I am currently at a desparate state so I do not know what to do apart from reaching out here. So about a month ago my account was put on 120 day period to provide proof of address before it got put on a lock down. At the time I was in the UK (as I am a student there) and the information paypal required was supposed to be based on the location the paypal was created (Bulgaria). After 5 days, my account got locked until I provide the information (even though innitially I had 120 days). I tried providing everything I can while being in the UK - documens on creating my bank account, ID, drivers license, etc. All where rejected saying they need to be from the past 30 days. When I asked what documentation where accepted I got the following list:
- Utility bill (I live with my parents in Bulgaria and do not pay such)
- A pay slip (I am a student and do not get paid)
- A drivers license (But must be issued in the past year which is not relevant due to be having it for 2 years now)
- A bank from
I supplied the latter after visiting my bank yesterday. It is not an invoice, it is an official documentation a Bulgarian emplyee supplies his employer which includes bank account, name, address, identification number. The date was stamped as yesterdays as well. Unfortunatelly, now this as well got rejected and all documentation I could possibly provide got declined (even though it should have been acceptable based on paypal messages). I have money locked in the Paypal account and support does nothing to remotely help me apart from stating rediculous claims such as "Ask parents to pay a utility bill in my name" or "Get a temporary job for a month to receive a pay slip".
Any suggestions/help would be kindly appreciated!
