Okay so I recently movedout of state I set up my paypal here, though I created it initially at the place I used to live. I was able to enter all of my information without it saying "we do not recognize this device" (It's the same computer I've had for 3 years now).
I tried sending money to a friend, but now it's needing verification. We don't get cell service here, and there are only very small, splotchy areas where we could potentially get a weak signal. I went through my whole yard to find a consistent spot and raced against the clock to recieve the verification code and enter it before it expired. I finally got it, and it said "You account has been verified!" So I hit "Continue" and it went right back to the whole "We did not recognize your device" so I have to do it by phone call. I rush into the room, enter the code, and get "your call cannot be completed as dialed." I answered the call and entered the number when I got that.
I'm really frustrated. For one, why MUST it be done by phone? Email verification, Capatcha, or security answers would do the same exact thing. Not all of us live in range of a cell tower!
I need this resolved as soon as possible.
