After 9 years of hard working, our account gets limited and PayPal puts 4 people on the street

I'm writing here because i'm desperate.

After using paypal for 9 years on our webshop, our account suddenly got limited without prior notice, and the immediate request to remove any reference and payment buttons to paypal on our webshop.

As far as I (and the helpful lady from paypal support) know, we do not violate the AUP, but paypal did not want to "give more information" about it and just stated that we are a high risk business. We sell SEO & SMM services. How high risk is that? Especially if you are in the game for 9 years with 75k+ customers.

How in the **bleep** are we a high risk business if we have been running for 9 years without any issues? We always accept liability on chargebacks (if they happen, very rarely).

The truth is, our business cannot run with paypal so we will have to shut down. I have 3 guys full time working in our office which  I will have to fire. I'm sure they'll find a job elsewhere, but still...

Allow me to write this mail to express my dissapointment in paypal, who I really don't understand when it comes to customer service. There are so many illegal, scam and phishing sites that use paypal and give it a bad name. But instead of putting their efforts in shutting those shady business down, they come after us based on... yeah, based on what?

I'm wondering if you guys know if there is anything I can do to make paypal believe we are not the high risk business they claim we are, because this is a very sad story...

@warzeqq

We only hear one side of a story on here and to be fair paypal does not WANT to close accounts, after all you were making them money so why would they? There must be a reason.

So what i suggest is copy /  paste basically what you have written into a pm and send it to  >>>
