Hi,my dear Paypal community. Can someone help me with the security phone call?
The situation is that, I am an international student, during summer holidays, i make some payment with my Paypal in my own country. But because of my IP address i guess, Paypal internal security system stops my payment and want to contact me with a phone call,but how can I recieve the phone call and this is the only option to identify myself. Personally, i think it is good system for customers' money safety, but could you make the verification method more international? it must be someone like me who cant take the phone call or recieve the SMS,foreigner or British people. If my memory is correct, in the past, Paypal will ask you to answer the security problem to help identify yourself, if you think the previous method has some problem, well how about sending a verification code to email. Making a phone call is too national for an international company.
I even cant sign in my paypal account until I reset my password.Fortunately, no verifacation phone call in password reset system.
But there is still a problem if I have to make a payment again with a different IP address.So, please solve the problem by update your system.
