Problem with getting debit card accepted

Hello I have tried to get paypal to accept my Santander rios(the name of bank) debit card it has a visa logo so it should work but it says my debit card was rejected by bank is there anything i can do to change that. if its a bank problem how do i check which bank supports paypal.

And also I have made an ebook and was thinking of getting the payements through my paypal account does it have to be verified to receive the money.

Check you country of residence is accepted by PayPal.

Double check the number/expiration date on your card.

Maybe you should activate your bank card for online transactions - ask your bank credit card dept.

I believe your PayPal account should be verified to have a reasonable monthly withdraw limit.
