I, for personal reasons, do not use or have any bank act.'s.  Can I use a place like Money Tree (which has, like a credit union, a way to have an act. set up like a bank for deposits and withdrawls) ... In short, can I use a check cashing place like Money Tree to transfer funds I get from PayPal to a Money Tree account?

I do not think so. You must add bank or credit union account with routing and account numbers for ACH transfers. You could ask money tree if they are able to receive ach transfers giving you their routing number and you a unique account number. I don't think it will work unless they can give you the two small deposit amounts for entering into your paypal account..

Better to open a savings account for collecting the money from paypal.

There is also the option of paypal sending you a check and cashing it at money tree. Smiley Wink

Unfortunately not.   You need to go by PayPal's policies, else, PayPal is not for you.   It's just that simple.
