This is a pretty common issue I see. Members who are surprised by the funding source that is charged for a transaction. There are a few things you should keep in mind when initiating a transaction. The first is the order in which your funding sources are used. For more information on that check out section 3.2 of the PayPal User Agreement.
The second is that you can review and modify your payment method before your payment is sent. You can click "Change" or "More funding options" to select a different way to pay.
