My husband wanted to set up his own PayPal account, and used our joint checking account for verification, and it was disallowed. Has anyone ever opened two PP accounts using the same bank account, can it be done?
Also, if one can use a savings account for bank verification, what numbers do you use? There are no tracking numbers on a savings account as there are on a checking account.

PayPal accounts cannot share a bank account. Open a new bank account for the second PayPal account.
Some people have posted that they successfully linked a savings account. Check with your bank for the routing/account number.
This **bleep** in my opinion, I can't understand why if two people are on the same bank account they can't be both be on paypal. Why should paypal care if my wife is also able to draw funds from our joint bank account? This had made paypal unusable for me. I see no reason open a seperate bank account just to pass fund through to my paypal account. Paypals response to this is even more irritating, when I called to ask about it, they got my wife on the phone and told her to close her paypal account, what kind of solution is that!
Actually I think I'll contact some newspapers and see if they are interested in the story of how paypal discriminates against married people, sounds a headline to me.
