Wrong Business Name on Credit Card Statements

I changed my business name several months ago and since it is reflected on my account info page I assumed it was done. But when a test charge that I initiated came through and I looked at my credit card statement, the old business name is on there. This could really throw customers off and lead to unnecessary disputes.

Does anyone know if there is some secret location where this can be changed? Or is it some glitch in the system that takes months and months for it to get updated?

Thanks for any advice on how to fix this...

Most likely you are experiencing a cookie issue.

Assuming you changed your Business Name per the steps outlined below:

Assuming you have a Business Account.
Login to your Account.
Click on the "Profile" link.
Under "Account Information"
Click on "Business Information"
Across from the "Business Contact Name"
Click on "Change Name".
Next, select the radio button for "Business Name Change"
Click "Continue".
Enter the new name in the input box.
Click "Continue".
Then save.

If you are the only one not seeing the change, then you need to delete your web brower's cookies, temp files, cache, history, etc., then close the web browser, reopen it and retry.

How would my browser settings have any effect on what show's up on a credit card statement?

No worries.  If that is case, it may be a timing issue.  Who knows.  If the name has been changed in your Account Profile, then it's been changed.   If you are still having issues, you need to be talking with Customer Service.
