When does transactions show up on your card?

I am new to paypal and I was wondering if someone purchases something from you how long does it take for it to show up on your card?  I've tried to research it and I've found that it can take up to 7 days to post to your bank account, but what about a credit card?  Thank you for any help with this.

When you sell an item, the funds are deposited into your PayPal Account minus the transaction processing fees.

So, you need to transfer the money from paypal account onto your card?  Can you use money from your paypal acct to pay bills online?
