Refund / Status Pending !!!!!

Hi, I ve got a full refund from a seller that did not shipped the items. He made the refund already but Paypal shows it in my account as Pending!!!  Dow you knoe how long will it take to clear/complete in my account?  thanks

I also have this problem. I received a defective item, the seller has issued a refund, yet PayPal has marked the refund as "pending" and I can't get my money. Doesn't anyone from PayPal monitor this community and provide answers to such issues?

Same thing here.  It's been 3 days and my refund is still pending.  How long does this take???

Yeah still pending, its time for me to quit using ebay as much, its like getting ripped off, yeah you got a raw deal and the guy refunded the money but were just going to hang on to as long as we want.

It depends on how you paid for your transaction.

Did you send a direct debit payment. As in you had less in your paypal than you actually paid for the item, and it pulled the money from your bank account?

If so, paypal will release the refunds as soon as the money gets into paypals hands. They fronted you the money to buy that item in hopes that the money is actually in your bank account tied to it.

You will get your refund as soon as it gets there from your bank account, paypal has taken their money back they fronted you since you don't need it.

I have a status pending like this since Jan 11th and should be lifted by tomorrow(Hopefully). I've heard others waiting as long as 6 weeks although the validity of those claims are not credible.
