I accidentally "upgraded" to a Premier account while trying to investigate why it might or might not make sense to do that. I've read several posts on the topic but can't find the answer to a simple question - would identical transactions result in different PayPal transactions costs for a Premier account than they would for a Personal account? I don't use any "Premier" features and mostly receive payments on PayPal.
Thanks for any assistance.

You can find fee info here. Fees apply only if the sender uses a credit or debit card, or if you receive any payment for goods or services.

I know that, I've read that, and it doesn't answer my question. Are there differences between the costs and fees for this type of account, assuming identical transactions, or aren't there?

As previously mentioned, there is no difference in costs. Basically Personal Accounts are for folks who just want to shop on the internet or need a way to send funds to family or friends. Premier and Business Accounts are intended for folks who want to SELL.

Person who buys and sells on e-bay using Personal account pays the same fees as a person, who buys and sells on e-bay using Premier account, do I get it right? Is it reasonable for one, who sells like 1-2 items per month and buys around 4-5 items per month, to upgrade? Will my e-bay activity be treated as "business" if I do?
Thank you much.

I have a premier account. Am I limited as to how much I can receive monthly? What about credit card payments?
Thanks
