Payment HOLD > Why won't PayPal release my money

I sold an item, and agreed to PayPal's terms.

I have proven that the item has been delivered, and yet PayPal insists on holding my funds for almost one month.

I just happen to have sold my item to a person who rarely gives any feedback to anyone, and has not responded to my emails, even though delivery of the item is a fact, via the USPS Delivery Confirmation option, which I used.

This is not acceptable, and I feel it is excessive & boarders on being illegal.

I am no longer a fan of this service, or of eBay, which supposedly is the same company.

Happened to me to just this week - "From now on, money you receive will be temporarily held"

I searched their help and policy and can not understand why they started doing this. Nor when they will stop doing this. I emailed customer service twice and never got a response! I already started listing and selling items on www.bonanzle.com - its free to list your items and you can import all eBay items in minutes! eBay and Paypal really needs a competitor and that only works if we user start using someone else!

I feel like with eBays/Paypals fees and policies that I am the bad guy as seller - just swallow it and look for alternatives. They wont discuss it with you little seller!

With their payments on hold we are back at "cash on delivery" type scenarios and times that kill us little sellers because we have to finance all the products till they actually arrive. At a certain volume and price I can not afford that and eBay will not be the platform of choice!
