This may sound like an unusual situation, and I'm not sure PayPal even thought about such occurrences, but I purchased a book, both in PDF and paper formats.
The author, Jacek Artymiak, is a non-US verified vendor; however, he is a respected OpenBSD developer and there has been much discussion among members on the OpenBSD "misc" mailing list not having received anything.
The purchase was made Feb 13, 2009, but the author in the process of writing the book; it was not a finished product. PDF updates were to have been sent out as chapters were completed. So much for contacting PayPal within any time limit, but this was an extended contract, so to speak, although the author was accepting full payment for a product not yet released.
And I did receive some of the PDF's; however, I ordered the "Building Firewalls with OpenBSD and PF, Third Edition"; now however, I see that I supposedly purchased the "OpenBSD Command Line Companion". However, if one looks on the authors website (http://www.devguide.net) and looks at the price of each item, the Firewall Book matches what I paid for (47 Euros), and the few PDF's I received were for the Firewall Book.I'd like some action from PayPal, not discussion; this is the first time I've had anything like this occur, and I'd really appreciate some genuine help.
