How long does it take for a invoice to process once the customer has paid with a credit card

Hi everyone. I sent my first invoice and my customer paid with his credit card yesterday. It still hasn't shown up in my account. How long does it take. Isn't it supposed to be immediate? Or, have i done something wrong and it's floating out there in limbo paypal space?

Help?

Have you verified your PayPal Account?    If no, then you won't see the funds until you do.

Yes I've verified the account, lifted limits - all that stuff.

Hi hbd-

Have your sender check their PayPal account.  If the transaction shows as Unclaimed, they might have misspelled the proper email address to send the payment to.  If you have confirmed your email address, then payments sent to that email address should post to your PayPal account.  My concern is that if they followed the steps from the invoice, the payment should have gone through.

If the payment is indeed unclaimed, they can check out info on how to return the unclaimed payment to themselves.  This would then allow them to resend the payment.

If they see a completed transaction and you received notification of money posting to your PayPal account, the only other factor I can think of is that we use your PayPal balance as the first funding source if you sent money after those funds came in.  In other words, if you have a $10 PayPal balance and you buy a $20 item, the balance funds would be pulled first and the remainder would come from another funding source on file.

Thanks,

Jason
