Hold on payments after delivery is confirmed?

I want to know you're experiences with this hold policy. I have sold multiple items on eBay and I always get a tracking number when I ship an item. I have confirmation that the items have been delivered but I still have holds on the money. I have also added the tracking numbers to paypal and to eBay. I have not however received any feedback yet. It has only been a few days since the items have been delivered but I want to know if I'm going to have to wait the full 20 day hold or if anyone has experience with this and can tell me how long it takes. Haaaa hahaaa haaa Amanda,

Every excuse Pay Pal gives is garbage! I meet every requirement not to have my funds held yet you do it every-time!! It is amazing that a guy ripped me off for $300 two years ago and so far I only got $200 back but you did not hold his funds! As a matter of fact I made a $350 purchase on sunday and while my payment was processing someone bought the same item. The payment was reversed immediately I even got an email stating it did not go through so I bought a similar item for $315 from the same seller. Guess what? Both payments are out of my bank account and for some reason Pay Pal has a hold on the $350!!!! As of today it has been 3 business days and it doesn't even show on my Pay Pal account! Stuff always shows on my account in 2 days when I transfer money to my Pay Pal account. one time a buyer destroyed the product I sent him and filed a claim, Pay Pal took the money out of my bank account before they even contacted me! After a few days of back and fourth and the customer sending me only a piece of what I sent him Pay Pal finally gave my money back. Funny thing is I have 100% positive feedback, I always give free shipping I ship within one day and I am totally verified! Pay Pal cannot quit **bleep**ing me over! Everytime you call Pay Pal you either get a foreigner who can barely speak english and can only give you canned responses or someone who does not know anything! The answers and stories always change and if you catch them lying or show them they are mistaken they just start regurgitating the same canned responses. I think Pay pal is about to see a very big class action law suit very soon!

I totally understand that the seller needs to be comfortable that funds are secure but when you authorize a charge, it should not be actually charged until merchandise is shipped.

My buyers left positive feedback well over 24 hours ago and the items have been shipped for more than 2 days. Why is there still a freakin' hold on my funds? This is ridiculous.

PayPal is all about protecting the buyer and don't give a crap about the seller.  I had an item which had cleared PayPal only to be reversed after I had shipped the item to the seller because she switched credit cards and her card would not clear her bank!  Why did PayPal clear the payment in the first place?????

The next step was PayPal asking ME for proof that I had shipped the item.  The buyer was cheap and wanted First Class shipping without paying extra for delivery confirmation.  So guess what?  PayPal said I didn't have proof that it was delivered and subtracted the funds from my account!  This was in spite of me sending a copy of the email from my buyer stating exactly what she had done!!!  Thanks for protecting me, PayPal!

I've got an ebay rating of 100% on over 5500 feedbacks.  Do you think PayPal has made any money off me?  It's really great that we bust our butts selling all this stuff, PayPal gets their hefty chunk out of our profits, and then they stand by a buyer who is trying to **bleep** an honest seller!

It's too bad that PayPal has a monopoly on ebay auctions.  However, if a buyer happens to ask me if I'll take cash, check or money order, I won't hesitate to say, "Yes," in the future.

Thanks for nothing PayPal - maybe you ought to look at who is paying your salaries.  Without us sellers you wouldn't have any buyers!  Did you ever hear of, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you?"

I'm starting to get a bit ticked off cuz.. my goods were delivered to my buyer, AND MY BUYER HAS LEFT POSITIVE FEEDBACK 2 DAYS AGO, AND MY MONEY IS STILL ON HOLD!!!!!!!! can you believe this??????????

Yes I can believe it. 2 days? It may be two more weeks before you get your money. They have over 700.00 of my money now and still climbing because stuff is still selling that I have listed and I am still paying the shipping out of my pocket wait to get paid 2 weeks now.

paypay_amanda is just another peon of paypal and does not know what she is talking about.    Just try it!  You will find that she knows nothing.  None of them do - they are no good.  You will get your money only when they are good and ready to allow you to have your money.  You have NO say.  And paypal_amanda has NO say.

I was told this evening they do not have to release the funds until 21 days pass, even with a confirmation of delivery.

SAME HERE.   WHAT I SELL IS MY BUSINESS NOT PAYPALS.  WHO ARE THEY TO DECIDE IF I WILL REFUND MONEY.
