BE WARNED. This company - Elasoft - is a fraudulent. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. No concept of holding verbal promise. I will tell you why:
I needed a Karaoke machine 4 days before my Xmas day party. I found ElaSoft on Amazon.com. If you check the "Return Policy" section: it says contact the Vendor as there is no defined return merchandise stated. So, I contacted Omar Elassal. Omar assured me that if the machine does not work, I can return it with no problem. The guy ships to me, and I pay extra $40 for FedExp; 2 night expedited shipping. After he ships it, he calls me back and says, I did not have the time to test the Karaoke machine but if you don't get the MIC to work, Go buy another MIC for $30 from Bestbuy. I felt robbed right there and had no good feelings. He was correct, the MIC did not work. I go rush to Fry's Electronics and I bought a $30 MIC. Still machine is not working no sound coming out of the MIC. 3 days before xmas, I call him back and I say machine is not working, and as we agreed I would like to return and get my refund -$40. He said, fine, I will mail you a FedExp shipping label and you need to ship same day I received it - so I did to make sure I get my refund back.
2-weeks later, Jan 5th 2010, I get a call from Omar explaining that machine works and that I can not return it. No upholding himself to what he promised to return it. $440 has already been charged no my Visa. Guess what now? The only thing I get from him is an email asking for a check for $28.50 so he send the machine back to me. UNBELIEVABLE. $440 GONE.
