I completely give up on the paypal virtual helper or whatever. Has anyone else experienced this before? I "won" an item on ebay. Went to pay at paypal. Every time I tried to make payment, I kept getting message, "Seller cannot receive payment at this time." I suspect this seller is in hot water or something and I suspect that their paypal privileges are suspended. Of course I cannot get any answers yet from ebay or paypal.
I'm also having the same problem. I purchased an item through ebay, went to pay the seller, and came up with the exact same thing. The seller cannot receive payments through PayPal at this time. Contact the seller to let them know what's going on and to advise me on what to do next. I'm still waiting for an answer, and neither ebay nor paypal have a difinitive answer as well. So I'm left in limbo and don't know what to do next. Now I'm leary about doing the whole transaction.
I'm having the same problem. I wouldn't mind, but EBay says it's a valid auction...so now I'm worried about getting a non-paying bidder placed on me. Anyone figure anything out?
