For some reasonm my debit card transactions are not going through. I have more than enough funds in my PP account (both older funds and some I received yesterdat - in case there's some hidden hold). I tried using it at an ATM, at a store both via debit (PIN) and credit (signature) transactions, tried it it a fast food place too - all transactions were denied. I don't have a backup funding source, but shouldn't need one, my available balance as seen on website and on phone is more than sufficient for any of the transactions I tried. This card used to work just fine for some transactions I did a few weeks ago.
Any ideas why this is happening and if there's any way to get it to work? I'm going to call support in the morning, but unfortunately I needed access to some of these funds urgently.

Problem solved. I called support today and it turns out that the security dept. locked out the card as they tried to call me and confirm some transactions with me last week. I didn't get the message so never got in touch with them, but the CS guy unlocked my card on the spot once we went over some transactions.
I really think that such actions should be limited to unusual / high-amount transacitons (all they wanted to go over were some small Amazon / Walmart purchases and a few fast food places), or at least have a 24/7 department to handle this issue even if the general CS is only business hours. Imagine if you needed gas driving home late at night and turned out you can't use your card for gas or a cab to get home....

I wish I knew, I am having the same problem with my husband's and my debit cards. All I get is the message that Transaction cannot be processed at this time. And there is enough money in the account, nothing wrong with the backup account or the PIN and there are no restrictions on the account. Grrrr!

Thanks!! Your solution helped me because I was having the same problem. Turns out they couldn't reach me by phone but had sent an email (which I had missed so I don't use that email address often). I called the number and it was all automated. Very easy.
