Charged to credit instead of checking

I bought a few speakers off of an audio website (audiogon.com) tonight. It sent me to my paypal to enter the ammount but it had all the seller info ready. Somehow it took the $310 from my credit card instead of taking it from my checking account which I wanted. I very recently changed the address on my paypal account to my current one so I'm wondering if this could be why this happened? On my profile, however, it still has the correct checking acc. information and says it is confirmed. I'm confused why this happened and am not sure if my credit card has enough limit to cover the $310. The card is through Chase bank and I'm not sure what is going to happen if I do not have enough limit. I can't really afford to pay a fee so hopefully it will just be denied? Someone please help.
