I have no credit card or bank account because I filed bankruptcy a few years ago. I want to sell on Ebay and was told from a friend that she has an account and whatever money is received from auctions is transferred to her paypal account and then paypal sends her a check every month.

To sell on Ebay you will need a Premier account but you will have to have a bank account. Open a savings account and link that.

You can receive payments into your PayPal account, however... you need to have a credit card, a debit card or a bank account linked to your PayPal account before you can send or withdraw the funds.

And ebay requires a credit card for you to sell.
Go get one of the security credit cards - you put money into them, then you can use that money as a credit card.
But get one from a bank, if you can - some of them have security cards as well. You need a card where you have to prove your identity before you get it because that's part of the reason for the card.
