Buyer is claiming I sold a Fake...How do I protect myself as a Seller, if I know they are real?
Buyer says she got some boots I sold and "believes" them to be fake...she wants to send them back (at my expenses) and wants a full refund "ASAP"
I purchased the boots a year ago and just never used them. They are brand new in the box, as stated in my auction. I know they are not fake's, since I have been the only owner. But, since it has been a year ago, I have no proof, but my word.
What can I do to prove myself? Please help...

Well I'm no "expert" but.. did your sale have a clearly marked refund policy? Were the boots sold as is? If you posted a refund policy that said you would offer a refund if they send back the product at their expense then they agreed to that by purchasing. If however you failed to include any refund policy then technically you don't have to offer a refund. If they are sold as is then same. However, for better reputation (especially if these boots sold on ebay) then say you will give them a refund if they send them back.

I did not list anything in the auction it's self...but at the top, when listing the drop down box come down about returns, it says 'No Returns Accepted'...Since they were brand new, I really did not think I had anything to worry about. I was not even aware that 'Fake' boots exists. I have been selling on Ebay for years and even though in my auction I have put my return policy, it was overturned. So, I am not sure that even matters...But, like I said, I bought them...know they are real...thought I had nothing to worry about.
How do I prove my case?
