$1 ...What?

Today I made my PayPal account, and after registering my checkings account, I checked my bank account, still just my pending Old Navy order... Later on, I noticed that I could register my debit card, so I did, a few mins later I checked again, and there was an additional $1 pending.. Now I admit I'm a tightwad, and a bit OCD, so I didn't really want to lose a dollar for no apparent reason, nor did I want to so much as touch my account record, seeing as how I had just spent 2 hours figuring out "Where the heck that $20 went." After I got it figured out... there was another $1 to mess with my head. Not a good day, lol.

Anyway, Why was I charged and what was it for?

Same thing  happened to me but for a different reason. I wish they would just tell me first, that's all I ask.

Well, I read that PP deposits a few cents like..twice for verification, but this was a dollar taken OUT rather than deposited IN... I don't understand. o.O

To be honest, after reading about the problems with sellers having their funds held, and after having my bank account accessed without my knowing, I'm not really sure I want to do this. I mean, alot of buyers never leave feedback.. And many sellers count on their money they get from auctions.
