This is a confusing one. I sold something and received an Email to say I had PayPal funds so I sent the item. It turns out the buyer missed out a dot in my Email address but I got PayPal Emails regarding the transaction in my inbox. They asked me to set up a PayPal account for that address, which I didn't want to do. I phoned PayPal and they couldn't explain why I'd received the Emails when the address wasn't exactly the same but I was advised to delete them and the buyer should open a case, wait for the time to elapse then the case would automatically close and the money would be returned to her account. The case closed without her escalating it but she says she hasn't received the money back. Where is it and how do I get it?!
