Paypal Resolution Gateway Timed Out - Refund Processed

Hello,

I sold some trainers on eBay and the buyer was not happy with the condition of them.

I asked him to raise a return in eBay and send them back. I never heard anything back from him.

He then created a dispute in the resolution center. (This was not a problem for me as all I wanted was the trainers back)

In the resolution center there was an option to refund the buyer once the item was returned. This is were the problem started. I clicked on the link and it would take 2-4 mintues to get to a timed out request page. I assumed this was my connection so I tried it when I got home but same problem. I then tried it at my friends house with the same problem.

I was starting to get nervous so I contacted Paypal and pasted the timed out reuest info in to the message.

They replied 2 days later with a generic buyer protection email.

I then again replied and said you don't understand I cant click on the option and notify the buyer. Another 2 days have past and I have no reply from Paypal and to top it off they have now refunded the buyer who has the trainers and his money back 😞

I have now sent a 3rd email to paypal with a breakdown of events but I am still waiting on a reply.

Can anyone please help as I am down £137 plus the 10% eBay fees as they said they do not credit if Paypal settles a dispute. This is a real headache for me as previously everything as gone well.

Thank you

I have recived a reply from Paypal.

They told me that becuase I didn't reply in time they had to refund the buyer.

THAT'S WHY I EMAILED YOU TWICE ON THE 5TH AND THE 9TH TO SAY THE LINK WAS TIMING OUT AND COULD NOT REPLY TO THE DISPUTE!!!!!

I DID ALL THIS WITHIN THE 10 DAYS!!!
