Negative balance...

I sold a person an item, he disputed it. I responded and Paypal went in my favor and let me keep the money. Well today, I login to a negative balance, and my history for this transaction has this "The funds are not available while this transaction is being reviewed". I have money on another account so I can send to this one to clear the negative balance, but I can't use my only card because it's tied to this account.

How can i get the money that I was paid from the original transaction back?

The new case that was opened, is this for the same transaction?

If not then there is another transaction on hold from a case being opened. When a case is opened the full amount involved is placed on hold. Any funds in your balance will be placed on hold and if there is not enough to cover the amount your account balance will be brought into a negative.

The funds in your balance will be placed on hold weather they are related to that specific transaction or not.

Once the case has been resolved the funds will be released to either you or the other party, according to the outcome.

i have the same situation right now, i was paid and stright away i wirthdrew my money and put it in the back, then i get the message a few days later to say i am negative £250, i call paypal and they say they need to investigate the situation as the buyer is new and has bought over £1000 worth of itams in the last month,

Problem is i cannot buy right now and if my items that i sell, sell i am not sure if there funds will clear with me as i am on stop,

Personally it is a joke, if they have a pproblem then take it up with the buyer not me. It puts everything i have going on, on hold,

The buyernow says it could take a week or so for this to be sorted out now
