The doors were sold on Friday 9th January and I personally delivered the goods to the buyer on Saturday 10th at 2.00pm. The funds are pending in my paypal account and the message i am getting is that I cannot get these funds until 30th January, this is outrageous the buyer has the goods but i have no money great!!!!!

That is exactly why ebay allow you to put on your auction "cash payment" for collection items.
Never accept paypal for items that are collected, there is no seller protection and if you are subject to the new seller hold (which you appear to be), then you won't be able to provide a tracking number to get the funds released earlier.
So you list the item cash on collection and if a buyer does pay with paypal you refund them and re-state cash only. That way you get cash in hand when the buyer collects and no paypal fee.
However if you are posting an item then you rarely have to wait the 21 days and the hold does not last that long anyway, only till you build a reasonable reputation as a seller. All in the link below >>
