Every time I try to log into my PayPal app on android in get the message saying, "we're sorry, a problem has occurred. Try again later" how can fix this so I can log into the PayPal app

Same problem here, using PayPal app on Android 4.4.4.

 

I made a payment via eBay last night. Thereafter it took several tries to get into PayPal, which finally worked. But then it went funny again, to the point that my account was suspended.

 

Today I changed my password and revalidated my account on my Desktop. The Desktop works absolutely fine. But my app simply will not allow me to sign in, either with the mobile number and PIN, or with the email address and password + security key.

 

I have tested, and I too can sign in once I have disabled the security key.

 

However, disabling the security key is not a suitable workaround! I have re-enabled the security key (for security!).

 

Please fix this, PayPal.

 

UPDATE: I have raised a ticket with PayPal asking them to send this to their Android app developers to fix.

Update:

I have upgraded Paypal phone app to version 5.4.14 but the problem still exists.  Smiley Mad

You cannot login to the app if you have an active security key.

I am also having this same issue. And yes i have two factor autentication enabled. If I disable it I can log in but when I re-enable it i can no longer log into the paypal mobile app. This issue started several days ago and still as of today 7-3-2014 it is doen not work.

Same here with a Nexus 5. I can log in if I deactivate my security key which happens to be my Nexus 5. Come on this needs fixing.

I have downloaded PayPal update on iPhone 5s, and same problems. We use PayPal for business, and this is very very frustrating. I can login into PayPal account from browser, iOS app just refuses to log me in... Having read reviews on App Store, and on here, it seems I'm not the only one.

 

Please please please PayPal, sort this out.

We are aware that there are currently issues with the PayPal app. Our technical team are currently working to resolve it. In the meantime, can I ask that you remove the app and re-install it to see if that helps.

If you would have read thru the posts, you would see this has already been documented in this thread...
"Tried to uninstall both from Samsung apps and play store, reinstall, clear RAM, Data/Cache etc - no joy. "

I'm sick of trying to unistall/reinstall the paypal app, no matter what I do it doesn't work! I sent an email they said they'd get back to me within 3 days... still waiting! Paypal is ok on my laptop, but my iphone 5s is a no go! Will you be getting around to fixing it at some point or are you too busy making money elsewhere??
