I'm in the UK, when I buy something in ebay and the item is in euros I then pay for it using the credit card option, not the paypal option. I then receive an order confirmation from ebay giving me the price in UK pounds. However, when I get my credit card statement the amount charged is more by several percent.
Why ??
Is there a hidden transaction fee?
How can I get full visibility of the transaction calculation?

Your c.c. company would charge a currency conversion fee.

They say they don't, they say they only pay what they're request to pay.
Ebay don't add any conversion or transaction fees. If I'm to believe my credit card company then Paypal is where the conversion and fees are happening.
