Unable to process transaction

So a direct debit (which comes out every month for Twitch subscriptions) came out a few days ago. I didn't have any money in my PayPal balance and there wasn't enough funds in my bank or cards so PayPal essentially paid and debited by account (IOU so to speak). I transfered the money back into PayPal today to clear it so I could continue to use PayPal now that all sources have funds in them again but it keeps saying it can't process the transaction.

How long does it take for PayPal to take payments as I kind of need to buy this item ASAP.

Many Thanks!

If you have a failed bank transfer then paypal often remove the option for you to use your bank account for future transactions.

This is to reduce risk to them as they credit the seller upfront for you but they won't continue to do that if you don't have funds in your bank account.

Ways to clear a negative balance.

1. Transfer funds from your bank account via "add funds" but select the second option that does not involve the direct debit, if you click on that one you get the details on the next page.

2. Get a mate or family member to send you a payment to your paypal via the friends / family option (as long as they don't fund it with a card there is no fee).

3. Via a card over the phone with paypal. Tel number =

@kernowlass

Thanks for your reply! I have cleared the negative balance. The amount outstanding is showing in my list of recent transaction and my PayPal balance is now showing as £0 (which it usually does as I just pull funds direct from my bank when paying), but it's still continuing to reject the transaction.
