Regular direct debit

Hi, I have noticed 3 transactions on my bank statement dated first of this month, stating regular direct debits ranging from £3 to £7. I have not purchased anything or set direct ups, any idea what these are please?

If you have your bank account (not card) linked to your paypal account then you would have set up the direct debit mandate as that is the only way a company can take payments from your bank account eg paypal to pay sellers for you.

So if that is what you did then go back and check transactions in your paypal summary around that time but remember that when you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal credit the seller for you and then paypal take the wait for your funds to transfer from your bank account. So that means the amounts may show a few days AFTER the transaction was made.

Thank you, I think that is what may have happened, although the transaction codes don't match, I think when I've paid £15 for something and had £7 in my PayPal is then taken £8 from my bank as the direct debit. I just panicked with it stating regular I.e. Thinking it will happen again next month.
