Did you invoice the buyer or send a money request?
Was it an Ebay transaction and did the buyer complete checkout?
Did the buyer buy it privately and send a payment?
If they did then were you charged a fee or could they have used the friends / family option?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I sold it through a Facebook group, I've not sent an invoice or requested funds, I've not had fees deducted either

Sounds as if she sent a 'gift' payment via the friends / family route which is not supposed to be used for selling and that is why you do not need an address.
You can ask her for an address or refund and ask her to pay using the goods / services option, then you would pay fees / get an address / have seller protection.
