Did they say they had limited it or was it just closed because you hadn't used it for ages?

Sorry I meant closed as they have said I will not be able to use paypal again!  My daughter had an account on Ebay which she was restricted for selling replica items! although they were advertised as that too! I wasn't aware of this and I let her use my Paypal account which was not used to sell items with, however I was honest enough when asked if I knew of or was linked to her site, Ebay must have reported this to paypal. I then received this email from paypal:

We are hereby notifying you that, after a recent review of your account
activity, it has been determined that you are in violation of PayPal's
Acceptable Use Policy regarding your sales / offers on eBay.com.

Could I set up another account using a new bank account?

ok then if you set up another Paypal account under the same IP address then Paypal will limit that one as well.

If they have said you violated policy and closed it then that means they no longer want your business.
