Limited Account

I rang up not so long ago about my account limitation. It was asking me to prove my itdentity, but when my Mum created my account she lied about my age (bad, i know). The person I spoke to released the money from my account, and told me to no longer use it, which i havent. Me and my Mum then created a new PayPal account in her name, and I started to use that. We have had many trouble with that account trying to remove all its limitations has been a pain. It is now saying, that before we can use it as normal again, we have to fix the issues with this account. The issue with THIS account is that I need to confirm my identity, but I cant because Im underage and you need to be 18. I wonder if there is a way to solve this? I dont need this account anymore, so I wouldnt mind if it was closed. I hope you can help. Thanks.

Hi JackHind,

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!

PayPal do not offer joint accounts, if the account was created with your mother's details she would need to provide all the information in her own name including her own Photo Identity.

Please do not continue to use PayPal while you are under 18.
