Do I need a debit/credit card to receive money and spend it ?

I want to sell some stuff online and then buy things with said money, but i dont have a debit card or credit card ? Can i receive money off someone and spend it or not ?

You should be able to but sometimes for high cost or risky transactions paypal will ask you to add a credit card as a back up funding source and to verify your account before you can proceed with the transaction.

Still can't say whether it will go through or not as no idea what you are buying and don't need to know as its up to paypal whether it goes through or not.

Hi venomx,

Once you have setup a PayPal account you will be able to receive payments. However, to verify your PayPal account you will at some stage have to add and confirm either a debit/credit card or your bank account. 

To receive payments you can use PayPal Me to send requests or just share your email address. If your using eBay I recommened reading up on eBay fees and PayPal transaction fees before you staert selling, also check out the buyer and seller protection policies which can be found on the PayPal website.

Receiving and ''spending'' are 2 separate things.

OP can receive payments but spending funds in your paypal balance is not ''always'' an option without a back up card although most times you can do so.
