I had a working capital cash advance which I paid off last week. Apparently you can apply for another one 3 days after paying off the previous one. It keeps saying I'm not eligible to apply although it's more than 3 days now. Has anyone had similar issues?

Hi Paula,
I always get the same message as the one you've mentioned. I spoke to 2 different agents at Customer Services but they don't know what the problem is. They're just guessing. They both told me different things. One piece of advice was to clear cache and cookies as I have another PayPal account or another issue might be that I'd transferred cash from my buiness account to my private PayPal account.
Even if I log in using a different browser or on a different computer it's the same result. It's like they have no influence over thir own IT systems. I'm just left guessing what the problem might be, just like they are. It would have been more useful to just admit they haven't got a clue. I thought that it might be that you can't have two advances within such a short period like having to wait 3 months between the first one being advanced and the next one. My first one was on 2 July so if that were the case I'd be eligible for another one from 2 October but this is me inventing eligibility criteria on their behalf. i ready som blog where customers were suggesting it was a glitch or that PayPal had run out of money to lend. I haven't got a clue what the problem is and if this is happening often you'd think they'd know why it was happening.

Hi, Paula,
have had 5 ppwc advances and they have greatly helped my business expand and make profit, I have had the decline DLGJ0260 on many ocassions and have called the team 3 times now and the account rep looks at the account and tells me each time (wow your account is fantastic no chargebacks ever, no disputes ever, and a large % increase in sales year on year, I can't see any reason why your being declined leave it with me for 3 days and I will come back to you by email with information from the working capital unit and try again in a few days) i don't have any of the emails explaining from the representative and of course 3 days later DLGJ0260. look a better reply would be (I am sorry the ppwc is not available to you anymore you don't fit the strict criteria we make our decisions on thank you for your business) your clients affected by virtue of being told there are no problems are feeling disgruntled and frustrated instead of being thankful for the help that has been made available to them from Paypal.
kind regards

We have had a few working capital loans across multiple business paypal accounts, each of which was paid and well within the time limts and getting further loans has never been issue after waiting 24 hours. Something has changed on the paypal side as we are now getting the error:
"Sorry, PayPal Working Capital is not available for your business at present"
Error code
DLGJ0260
Spoken with paypal and getting nowhere fast in getting the problem resolved. Did you have any luck?

Same issues - in a nut shell regardless of how well you are doing you have now fallen out of their algorithm and will carry getting that message until you fall back into it
We are 115% better in sales this year than last but cannot get a new one even though we paid all 3 of ours off well before expectations
Note oto paypal - why not devise a calculator that will predict if you will be eligible? i would not have paid mine off early if i knew i wasnt

Exactly the same problem for me. Just can't understand why ? No answers anywhere, tried messaging on facebook, tried phoning. Would just like a straight answer. Someone did mention it goes against you if you pay off a large lump sum as I did.

I've spoken with many sellers (more than 30) on eBay who use the working capital facility, unfortunately after repaying loans nobody has been able to get subsequent loans in recent weeks. Paypal are aware of the issue, but claim they cannot do anything about it as its computer controlled and cannot be manually overridden. I've since lodged a formal complaint with Paypal regarding this matter, as many of us sellers have become to rely upon it as a way of funding and expanding the associated businesses, and like you would not have paid of a substantial sum if I had known there would be such problems getting subsequent loans from paypal.
