Cannot add new bank account

I recently have transferred banks and my old bank account is closed so I removed it from PayPal with no issues. I’ve added my new debit card details however when trying to add the new bank account details PayPal will not add the account! This bank account is brand new and not set up with any other PayPal account. It’s very frustrating because I have money in my PayPal that I want to withdraw into my new account and I can’t. Does any one have any advice on how this can be resolved? Thank you in advance.

If its none of the reasons in the list in the link then give customer services a call and see if they will add it manually for you.
