Just spent one hour on the phone with customer services with no progress.
Attempting to link my paypal acc to my active bank acc, though it was linked to an old paypal account over a decade ago
I cannot remember the email address or phone number that this acc was linked to as they havent been used in close to a decade but paypal are refusing to allow me to close the account and link to my new account
It's ridiculous to me that I cannot now link the acc to my active account
What if someone had set up a fake account and linked my bank account to it - I cannot have this account closed or delinked as I would not know the account information a fraudster would have used to set it up
Ridiculous that a company like paypal has no resolution in place
