Association account

I am looking at membership payments for a dog Association. The account needs two signatures on a cheque to pay anyone. So can I set up a business PayPal account  or does an Association effect this?

Hi Beverleyh1 and welcome, 

Yes you could set up a business account. If the account requires two signatures then you would be requested to send in a document showing the two signatures on it and confirming that you have authorisation to add it to PayPal. Also, if you are setting the account up as a business account you would be asked to provide business information for the dog association. If you are not a registered business then I would recommend to choose the option "individual" or "sole proprietor" when filling out your business information form.
