Advice regarding payments

Hi, 

 

I have these two types of payments from my paypal account:

 

Pre-approved Payment

This was a payment request submitted from a web service I used to use. Via their website, I requested to fund my account using my paypal account (e-cheque) - sum: £150

 

Payment

Same as above, but for some reason, it appears as payment type: Payment (and not pre-approved payment) - sum £100

 

Both of these transactions were carried out on March 13th (9 days ago) and the both payments left my personal bank account via direct debit today.

 

I no longer use the third party website services (money was simply to fund this account and was not a purchase) and would like to know what I can do?

There is a dispute option in the event of not receiving the goods, but this isn't entirely the case, and I don't want to confuse or mislead the matter.

 

1) There was an option to de-activate the pre-approved account (which I had done on March 13th) - I believe this means the funds for this transaction will appear in my paypal and not reach the third party website? Am I correct? And if so, how long does this process take to appear here?

 

2) Regarding the 2nd transaction, which says 'payment'. This does not have the ability to cancel nor did it have a de-activate option. Is there anything I can do to stop this? The money only left my account today, so I'm sure the funds wouldn't have reached anyone yet?
