Hey, I listed a phone on eBay and someone brought it through the "buy now" option, I then received an email from them through eBay asking to send an invoice which I did. I then got an email from "PayPal" telling me to inform them of the tracking details and they will release the funds as this was for both our protection, so I updated eBay with tracking details and received another email from "PayPal" to say they have the tracking number and funds will be credited after the checks etc. Obviously the emails from PayPal were fake as I then got one from PayPal to say they couldn't release payment as there is a customs fee and I need to send over £300 of my own money through some site and I will be credited all the money back! How has someone been able to do this under eBays nose? also the item on eBay has "paid" in red across it and I've not clicked that Ive received any funds??! What do I do now? I've done all that was asked and lost money? Any advice please??
