HSUS??

I am hearing some very disturbing rumors that PayPal has partnered with HSUS this month. Some say it is a phishing email-- others say it is rel. Since when has Paypal welcomed a scam organization that does nothing to help animals in need?

Come on PayPal—do a little research! Humane Society of the US recently settled a fraud and racketeering lawsuit and has a “D” rating by Charity Watch. Please do not give them a dime! This is a political organization that does not provide funding for animal shelters or animal welfare. Local Humane Sociyeies are not affiliated with or funded by HSUS. This partnership disgusts me. You can do better.

Why on God's green earth would PayPal align themselves with such an unscrupulous organization? This organization does virtually nothing for animal shelters with the money it bilks from the unsuspecting.  Makes me wonder who is benefiting from millions donated annually, if the shelters are not.  Wayne Pacelle's average annual compensation from the HSUS was $350,000 for 2012, 2013, and 2014.  Folks and PayPal need to Google HSUS before opening their hearts and wallets.  PayPay... If you have money you want to give away, consider another charity, or perhaps, you can lower your fees for your loyal customers. At least someone deserving will benefit, instead of a corporate CEO.
