I Recently sold a camera i owned for over 850 dollars. When it sold it sold as a buy it now. The person i sold it to gave me extra money for a quick ship. In the email it said it was a gift to a relative. Me being a honest trusting person believed it and sent out the package to the address specified. A week passed and a claim was open on my account for the money. I provided all evidence i had sent the package. I was then robbed of the 930 dollars. The credit card that payed for the package was stolen. Since it was not a verified address paypal would not help me.
First off.. I was never at all told that for this buyer protection i would need to send to a verified address and have the package signed. I Was never informed about this until after. So now im out over 930 dollars. Paypal wont do anything. I looked up the address, The name was different. I attempted to call the address with no sucess.
What to do.
