A person contacted me by e-mail about my craigslist ad selling certain jewelry, and refused to give his real name (he now claims that "John James" is his friend's name and gave his "friend's" address). He did not pay me through PayPal, though he claimed to have done so, but it just doesn't "show up" in my account until I ship the items. He appears to believe sellers are that stupid, and don't understand how PayPal works.
His e-mails just reek of fraud and a scam, because he doesn't even seem to respond to direct questions- they are cut and pasted automated bits of text. But don't waste your time even at the outset responding to any queries from "John James" at the email address (without spaces): *Personal information removed in accordance with Community Guidelines*
