Suspicious Email

I received an email stating "Notification of limited access RXA-212". It stated that there had been unauthorized credit card use associated with this account, and that i now had limited access to the account until i logged in and resolved the problem.  It said they had contacted me earlier (which is not true). They instructed me to log in and 200weore your account access.  That does not make since there either. It was signed by Pal Pal Account Review Dept. and Pay Pal Email ID. Does any one know anything about this type of e-mail? I did access my account and saw no problem or notification regarding an unauthorized use.

Hi,

I got one too.  If you look at the e-mail address, it is paypall.com, not paypal.com.  Had to read the e-mail several times before I spotted it.

I received an e-mail stating I had been chosen randomly asking me to verify my PayPal information. I tried to send the e-mail to PayPal at spoof@paypal.com and it got kicked back. I have a problem sending information about a problem. Help?

I did the same just now and it didn't bounce back.

There may have been a poblem that day; might have been an ISP problem on your side; may have had a character comma insteqad of period fr ex. in the address.

I received the same email too. What got me was all the precautions on the side about not giving out your information and never give your password. I laughed b/c they want you to follow their links. I have made a recent purchase and thought let me see if there is a problem. I logged in myself and on another tab and nope no probs at all. BTW it was in my spam and all of my transactions from PP doesnt go to my spam.
