Panic Pot is a ripoff! Do not chance it!

Panic Pot pretends to care until your PayPal time has run out!  I purchased a Mophie Air from Panic Pot for my iPhone. They called me and said that they were having trouble processing their charge cards -- could I please pay through PayPal?  So I did.  Got the battery case and it did not work. Emailed them and got a delightful response from "Samantha: -- Oh we are so sorry! We will send you another one and check it first (duh!) to make sure it works. We will also send you a prepaid envelope to return it to Hong Kong."  I was so happy, until nothing arrived after 15 days. After 5 more emails to "Samantha" at PanicPot, I realized that I was getting nowhere. So I registered a claim with PayPal. PanicPot responded with an arrogant email that the item had been shipped. So I asked for Tracking info.  Nothing.  Asked again. Nothing. Time to escalate to a dispute was running out. More emails through PayPal and through their "Customer Service" address. Nothing. So I escalated to a dispute. PayPal informed me that I must return the phone (at my expense), with a tracking number (cost me $20.00). So the battery phone case that was $10 cheaper than Mophie has cost me time and money. I now understand why the credit company wouldn't accept the charge! I don't understand why PayPal does not cut them off. Has any company ever been cut off by PayPal?

I had ordered something from them last December.  It took a while, but I did eventually get my iPhone case, and they responded to my inquiry pretty quickly when I started to worry the case wasn't coming.  I think I paid $16 (with shipping) for a case that is normally $34, so it was a a really good deal.

I am sorry to hear about your experience though.
