saraht2699- Beyond searching online for reports of...troubles...with that particular person, there's really know way for us to know if there's a problem, short of people complaining to PayPal and us shutting down his PayPal account...in which case you'll have a heck of a time paying them through PayPal 🙂
Really, there's no reason to assume that it's fraudulent. Or any more fraudulent than other similar situation. As long as it's a payment for goods, you can always file a dispute if something comes up wonky. And if you use your credit card, you'll have the same protections your card would always provide for you. Just remember that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
